Requirements

  • full, clean driving licence
  • professional experience working with dogs e.g in other day care settings and / or in kennel environments
  • be based a reasonable distance from Hilltop
  • HNC or HND in animal care or other relevant qualification
  • please note, we will perform a Disclosure Scotland check on the successful candidate
  • track record undertaking other forms of canine-related training e.g IMDT or canine first aid
  • first and foremost we are looking for candidates with a genuine passion for dogs, who is able to work in all weathers, self motivated and wants to be an essential part of a small team

Responsibility

  • attending the monthly team meeting to hear about Hilltop developments and contribute to collaborative feedback and ideation within this
  • promptly reporting and escalating any concerns about the wellbeing or welfare of any dog in Hilltop’s care to the Team Lead in the first instance
