Responsibility
- opening the store at the beginning of operating hours and closing it at the end of operating hours
- supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance and allocate responsibilities to them
- prepare and control the store's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
- oversees receipt and verification of incoming goods, ensures goods are unloaded, stored, and verified according to policy
- ensuring and providing excellent customer service throughout the store
- communicating with customers over phone or in person, answering all questions they have about the product and the store
- deal with complaints from customer to maintain the store reputation
- deferring to store manager when a customer issue proves too difficult to handle alone
Requirements
- proven experience as retail supervisor or in any relevant position
- knowledge of retail management best practices
- thorough understanding of stores procedures and policies
- outstanding communication & customer service skills
- patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to effectively delegate task and motivate a team
- A customer-focused manner, remaining level-headed in any situation
