structural design engineer
Responsibility
- thoroughly review and evaluate design information, encompassing drawings and specifications provided by Design Teams
- cultivate design concepts and perform structural design calculations
- collaborate with engineers and architects during the preparation of drawings and designs
- prepare annotated drawings to effectively communicate your designs to our team of detailers
- display willingness and responsiveness in coordinating with other design team professionals, clients, and contractors
- foster effective communication and coordination with external consultants, design teams, and clients
- regularly conduct site inspections, participate in site meetings, and engage in online meetings as required
Requirements
- CAD, BIM and REVIT experience. TEKLA modelling experience would also be beneficial
- site engineering experience background but not essential
- degree Qualified is desirable
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- self-motivated with a meticulous attention to detail and adept at conducting research on relevant subjects
- ability to work effectively within a team, follow directions from Project Lead Engineers, prioritize deliverables, adhere to tight deadlines, and successfully complete projects on time
