SALT SEARCH is looking for employees for positions:
design engineer
Responsibility
- collaborate with fellow engineers in the department to design high-performance Analogue, Digital, Mixed-Signal, and RF PCBs
- create comprehensive design documentation and specifications for use by PCB fabricators
- prepare PCB data for fabrication, ensuring seamless transfer to PCB manufacturers and considering design for manufacture principles
- manage part and BOM in our PLM system
- provide guidance and support to junior team members, assisting in their skill development within PCB layout
- review PCB designs of other engineers and provide valuable suggestions for improvements. * Generate accurate PCB assembly process documentation and instructions
- liaise with PCB manufacturers to clarify design requirements and facilitate the smooth manufacturing of bare boards. * Develop new PCB library parts to enhance design efficiency
Requirements
- hold an HNC, HND, or BSc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
- proficiency in working with EDA software, preferably Mentor Graphics PADS PRO /Expedition PCB
- experience working with Component Databases, ERP, or PLM systems
- prior exposure to audio electronics would be advantageous
- IPC certification, such as CID or CID+, would be beneficial
