Responsibility
- prepare a variety of salads according to established recipes and customer preferences
- we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Salad Preparation Assistant to join our dynamic team
- wash, chop, and slice vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients used in salad preparations
- ensure that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- follow proper food handling and safety procedures to minimize the risk of food contamination
- assist in monitoring inventory levels and notifying the supervisor when ingredients need to be replenished

Requirements
- previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a salad or similar food service environment, is preferred but not required
- knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
- strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage time to meet deadlines
- excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- experience: Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or salad bar setting, is beneficial but not mandatory
