Responsibility

  • ensuring that there is a detailed understanding of how each of our Client’s business operate
  • responsible for taking over the ‘ day to day’ relationships with our Clients from the Managing Director and maintaining/improving these professional relationships
  • responsible for managing the preparation and submission of all Construction Industry Scheme returns
  • responsible for ensuring that regular and timely liaison occurs with our clients, whether dealing with queries, ensuring that bookkeeping issues are resolved quickly and simply, and/or ahead of VAT return deadlines
  • assisting with the ‘ onboarding ’ of new outsourced finance team/bookkeeping clients, ensuring that the ‘playbook’ for that client is in place and our Team are supported to deliver high quality bookkeeping work from Day 1
  • responsible for maintaining oversight of the Team to ensure that all Payroll, Pension and related work are delivered on time
  • responsible for maintaining oversight of the Team to ensure that VAT Returns are completed to a high standard and submitted on time every time
  • assisting with the preparation, review and submission of Corporation tax analyses, returns and annual accounts work

Requirements

  • other - Certified in Xero and Quickbooks accountancy software. Knowledgeable of software and tech within finance and/or accountancy practices
  • key - Already having qualified or completing studies towards the ACCA qualification, Professional and ‘ can do’ attitude, Diligence, Passion for ‘ over delivering’ for Clients, Accuracy and good ‘attention to detail’ critical
  • team management: 2 years
