Responsibility
- contribute significantly to the engineering lifecycle, including scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of your team's work
- perform unit testing, participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
- collaborate closely with our software and mechatronics teams to develop, integrate and deploy proficient software, drivers and state of the art algorithms for our robots
- design, develop, and maintain high-performance, modern C++ code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
- stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools related to Linux systems and C++ development
Requirements
- bachelor's, master's or Ph.D degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- linux operating system experience is essential
- experience with Git and GitHub is essential
- excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- passion for staying up-to-date, learning new technologies and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to own your team’s deliverables and independently drive them forward
- proven hands-on experience in development, including strong proficiency in C++ programming and debugging on Linux environments
