Working hours

Responsibility

  • at a glance, their role includes delivering and maintaining high quality care that stimulates children and aids each child's personal development
  • light cleaning duties are also required
  • the working days will be full time 5 days per week 8/8.5 hour shifts
  • room Leaders are responsible for the overall running of their assigned room in a nursery or similar setting, for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • it also involves supervising other nursery staff, sharing professional knowledge to improve practices, and making sure all regulatory requirements are complied with in the setting
  • the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining an outstanding learning environment, assisting with mealtimes and self care, observing and assessing children in line with the EYFS, developing excellent relationships with the staff team, children, families and parents
