Responsibility

  • we offer small group lessons and private 121 / 122 lessons, we believe that keeping groups small benefits the swimmers
  • we have a great team with lots of opportunities to develop and progress
  • ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to
  • committed, passionate, loyal and must have the ability to create a good rapport with parents / carers and children
  • must be able to identify children’s levels of ability and adapt activities and lessons as required
  • run sessions effectively and efficiently, setting up and maintaining equipment and adhering to D&S Swim School safeguarding policy
  • D&S Swim School is a growing swim school and we are looking for passionate, friendly, reliable and enthusiastic qualified level 1 and 2 teachers, to join our team
  • provide feedback on swimmers when required

Requirements

  • swim England or STA Level 1 or 2 swimming/coaching qualification
  • national Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches qualification or lifesaving qualification is beneficial
  • clean Disclosure & Barring Service check - for successful applicants who not do not have a DBS, we can help to arrange this
  • confident with all aspects of teaching: nervous, additional needs, complete beginners and technique work
