Responsibility
- preparation and cooking meals in accordance with established recipes and standards
- ensuring that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and is safe for consumption, including as regards allergens etc
- cleaning and sanitising cooking utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment
- assisting with inventory control and ordering supplies as necessary
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen at all times
- working in strict accordance with all food safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements
- prior experience of cooking including for large numbers of people
- current Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene as a minimum
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- friendly and engaging manner when dealing with customers
