Responsibility
- plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate purposeful, safe and engaging Forest School sessions
- where appropriate liaise with Prep School teachers to link Forest School sessions with Prep School topics and core texts
- lead Forest School sessions as part of special whole school events, e.g. Transition Days, Charity Days
- setting an excellent example to all pupils and maintaining high professional standards at all times
- ensure appropriate and sufficient staffing of Forest School sessions in liaison with the Deputy Head Academic and Head of Prep
- developing a love of and curiosity for learning in all pupils
- leading two clubs a year
- follow the relevant health and safety guidelines and policies
Requirements
- ensure that adequate first aid provision is available
- teaching: 1 year
- ensure that adults have details of children’s medical or special educational needs
