panel beater
Responsibility
- removal and safe disposal of welded damaged panels as directed by work order
- re-alignment using jig and measuring equipment as directed by work order
- repair of damaged panels to include filler work ready for preparation for paint
- removal and safe storage of vehicle components, fluids and gases as directed by work order
- removal and safe disposal of vehicle components and fluids as directed by work order
- our driven, enthusiastic and motivated Panel Beaters are responsible for carrying out the preparation and body repair of car and light commercial vehicles in an efficient, skillful and safe manner, working to insurer/manufacturer procedures and specifications and meeting high customer satisfaction expectations
- re-assemble vehicles after repair in a safe and competent manner paying focused attention to quality
- we are seeking a talented and passionate Panel Beater to join our friendly and collaborative team in our state of the art bodyshop
Requirements
- minimum 3 years’ experience
- knowledge of computer-based data system – ‘escribe’ in particular
- current industry recognised welding certificates
- training in Mig brazing
- be able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining quality
- flexible approach to working hours
- adaptability to new technologies
- HEV training
