Responsibility
- we have an opportunity for a Junior First Line IT Technician to join our IT Team in Lancaster
- provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues
- this is an excellent opportunity for a Junior IT Technician to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment
- collaborate with team members to resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner
- remain in contact with customers regarding reported incidents and provide appropriate updates
- raise awareness of regular repeat incidents
- ensure the all Configuration items are correctly maintained
- you will be responsible for dealing with First Line issues raised by our customers, as well as providing assistance to team members with system and network requests
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- 1 year's experience in an IT support role
- knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems , and software applications
- familiarity with computer networking concepts and protocols
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- proactive and willing to learn
