communications manager
Responsibility
- responsible for the editorship and content management of the company’s e-newsletters, brochures, sales proposals, websites and social media
- work with the Design and Content Team in developing innovative learning content and effective communications and marketing material
- responsible for the day-to-day management of RWA’s Design, Content and Communications team, co-ordinating its activities to ensure that corporate targets and changing priorities are met through managing the delivery of internal and external design, content, and communications projects

- responsible for the co-ordination of the Development Zone content strategy, working with technical and design colleagues to write, develop and curate learning material for the general insurance market and other regulated financial services
- manage design and content projects, including carrying out design projects for clients where appropriate
- responsible for the review and approval of corporate design and content in accordance with the company’s professional standards requirements, reasonably ensuring that all external publications reflect the company’s brand and values
- ensure content is optimised for search engines, the relevant target audience, and the relevant medium
- manage and lead the Design and Content Team, ensuring that all work is delivered to a high standard and meets client expectations
- monitor and report on content performance metrics and lead-generation
- develop and maintain content and communications strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, collaborating with the UKGI Group’s Content Governance Committee as appropriate
- ensure reasonable and appropriate measures are taken to incorporate accessibility considerations in all content
- work with internal stakeholders to develop new content for expansion into other financial service areas, contributing to the diversification of the company’s client offering
- 10. Participate in RWA Management Meetings, providing relevant and timely Management Information and reports on team performance as required
- 11. Assist as appropriate in health and safety duties at the Blaenavon Office
- 14. Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a literate field
- minimum of 5 years’ experience in content development and communications
- experience in managing and leading a team
