Requirements

  • several years CNC machining experience
  • familiar with Prototrak SMX and TMX controls
  • conversant with setting & operating CNC mills & lathe's
  • familiar with Fanuc based systems
  • ability to confidently set and operate CNC mills & lathe's
  • proven self inspection skills
  • deburring
  • stock cutting

Responsibility

  • set and operate a range of CNC and NC machines
  • create and Edit programs at the machine
  • carry out basic maintenance on machines and tools
  • produce high quality components for a mixture of prototype, low vloume and medium volume jobs
  • self-inspection of machined parts
  • no offline programming
