Responsibility
- monitor and ensure the safety of all individuals in and around the pool area
- enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
- administer first aid and perform CPR as necessary
- conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any potential hazards or safety concerns
- maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and any necessary documentation
- provide excellent customer service and assist with any inquiries or concerns from pool patrons
- ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- must possess a valid lifeguard certification
- strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety techniques
- ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- physical stamina and endurance to perform rescues and provide assistance as needed
