Responsibility

  • ensure bin rotation and refuse collection takes place
  • cleaning duties such as sweeping, hoovering and dusting
  • watering trees and plants and weeding. Generally, maintain the walkways and grounds, litter picking etc
  • site inspections, ensuring there are no issues and that the building is clean and presentable
  • ensure all services are all in working order and report any faults
  • arrange for deliveries for example, heating oil, cleaning materials etc
  • ensure any contractors and builders are fully versed on the expectations of working practices and hours and comply with regulations
  • ensure the security of the building by keeping any doors closed/locked and reporting any suspicious activity
