- maintain the required standards for staff development and training and supervision
- designated to take charge of the Home in the absence of the Home Manager with continuing responsibility throughout the 24-hour day for the assessment of care needs, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care
- to provide a high standard of individualized service, allowing the Service Users’ quality of life to be maximised in a caring, supportive, friendly, and safe environment
- to conduct care and management in such a way so as not to bring the home or its service users into disrepute
- 12. Participate in the sales and marketing of the home in order to maintain an adequate capacity of residents in the home with the correct ratio of skilled, trained staff
- to assist the Home Manager in handling residents’ personal finances ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times
