Responsibility
- prepare and bake a wide range of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
- mix, proof, and bake cinnamon rolls with precision and care
- follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all products
- prepare rolls with frostings and toppings
- maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards
- prepare orders for customers
- monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- maintain consistency in quality while embracing the repetitive nature of the role
Requirements
- previous experience as a Baker or in a similar culinary role is preferred
- previous baking experience or a strong desire to learn and grow
- strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation
- self-motivated with a drive to be challenged and continuously improve
- familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment used in the kitchen
- comfortable with repetitive tasks while staying detail-oriented and excited
- ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- creative flair for experimenting with new products and recipes
