Responsibility
- provide round-the-clock supervision and support to children and young people aged 8-18 in a residential setting
- working within our Specialist Therapeutic Home, you will provide supervision and support to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being
- foster a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment conducive to the physical and emotional development of the children and young people
- our mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for these individuals, many of whom have experienced significant trauma
- support children and young people in daily activities, including meal preparation, educational support, and recreational activities
- promote and facilitate positive social interactions, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation among residents
- maintain accurate records of resident progress, incidents, and activities

Requirements
- minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People
- previous experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting is highly desirable
- strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and young people
- compassionate, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable youth
- ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with professionals from diverse backgrounds
- understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic interventions is a plus
- willingness to undergo background checks and comply with regulatory requirements
- residential Childcare: 1 year
