- A-Level or equivalent
Responsibility
- producing complex Sole Trader, Partnership and Limited Company accounts
- preparing and computing Corporation Tax computations and Corporate Tax returns
- preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- taking incomplete records to final accounts production
- statutory accounts preparation
- understanding the importance of client liaison and client confidentiality
- completion of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, reviewing personal tax computations and follow on discussions with clients
- VAT Returns and review of junior staff VAT calculations
Requirements
- AAT Level 3 qualified
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- positive ‘can do’ attitude
- ability to meet deadlines whilst ensuring high standards are met
- minimum two years in practice experience
- strong organisational and time management skills
- ability to produce high quality, accurate and detailed work
- confident IT user, cloud-based accounting systems and MS office packages
