Responsibility

  • live in - Riverside accommodation available
  • assisting with menu planning and development
  • preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to order
  • maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • assisting with stock control and ordering
  • we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at The Riverside Inn, which is currently undergoing refurbishment and will be opening soon
  • training and mentoring junior members of the kitchen team
  • the successful candidate will work alongside the team to help develop a high-quality food offering that features freshly prepared dishes using seasonal ingredients

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef
  • passion for cooking with seasonal ingredients
  • excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • relevant culinary qualifications
