Responsibility

  • you will be responsible for Clinical Standards
  • liaise with the Community Nursing Care Team regarding Service User’s health care needs
  • maintain effective communications with Management, Staff, Service Users, Relatives and any other concerned bodies
  • an exciting opportunity has opened up and we are seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager who is caring, forward thinking, person-centred, committed, and professional with the desire to deliver excellent care to our new and existing residents
  • you will have a good understanding of health and social care regulation within the Care Home sector and be able to work independently and autonomously where required
  • you will possess excellent communication skills, have experience within elderly dementia care and will have previous or current experience at a senior nurse level such as a team leader or deputy
  • ensuing all Staff Members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Care Home, and to the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of Service User’s
  • high quality care and a positive approach is important to us, as being part of a team committed to delivering person-centred care for our long term care and respite care residents is required

Requirements

  • 1st Level Nurse - either RGN or RMN
  • to have the ability to work effectively within a Team Environment
  • previous management/supervisory experience
  • care for the Elderly experience / qualification
  • minimum two years management / supervisory experience
  • team player
  • genuine interest in working with the older person
  • satisfactory PVG Record Check
