Requirements
- qualified Accountant
- thorough understanding of accounting policies and procedures
- real Estate sector experience, including good knowledge of multiple SPVs structure
- strong analytical skills
- advanced computer skills; experience with financial accounting and property management software
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- positive attitude and a team player
Responsibility
- review VAT Return – liaise with Accountants as required
- prepare Reports for submission to investment managers/investors on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- utilities and Council Tax are dealt with in a timely fashion and void costs are monitored - Bank is reconciled daily wherever possible, and any differences highlighted to the property team
- liaise with Accountants on monthly management accounts – review accruals etc. and ensure all appropriate information is provided
- where applicable review VAT returns
- budgets and cash flows are completed on a yearly basis and variance analysis is completed monthly
- liaise with Energy Company provider to ensure timely financial information is received and processed
- provide rental analysis – like for like rental growth / relet rental growth on a quarterly basis
