Responsibility

  • our busy factory based in Boston is looking for a reliable and self-motivated Backshift Supervisor
  • quality is key to our success and is what we aim for
  • we are looking for someone who is proactive & self-sufficient
  • you must be able to show experience of working within food production, ideally fresh produce
  • due to continued growth our busy factory based in Boston is looking for 3 Production Supervisors to start as soon as possible
  • the successful applicant will be required to manage and improve the efficiency and support the development of the production team and our systems and processes to accommodate future growth
  • we are looking for people who will be very proactive & able to inspire and lead our teams of Line Leaders, Runners and Operatives
  • these roles are very hands on and will suit someone who is an existing Team leader / Senior / experienced Line leader or Machine Operator looking to progress

Requirements

  • excellent attention to detail and a passion for excellence
  • confident to supervise a small team and be always responsible for Health & Safety on site
  • ability to work under pressure and meet targets
  • A good communicator who will Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure smooth running of equipment
  • provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and developing the team
  • experience in food production and an understanding of netting & clipping machines is desired, but not essential as full training is given
  • professional work manner and a good standard of written & verbal communication
  • responsible to ensure production lines are set up for the following shift and carry out any hygiene tasks to maintain good housekeeping standards
