- make a child laugh and enjoy themselves as that is such a crucial part in foundation sport
- plan lessons out and be organised for all your classes
- collaborate with other coaches, trainers, and team staff to ensure a cohesive approach to training and development
- engaging with parents and providing feedback at the end of each session
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- A sporting background does help but not the be all and end all
- excellent communication skills, be able to get down to a child’s level and see things through their eyes
- ability to motivate and inspire young children to a life of sport and fun
- strong organisational skills to plan and manage practice sessions effectively
- patience and lots of enthusiasm to work with young children of different skill levels and ages
- sports coaching: 2 years
