Responsibility
- assist clients with queries on bookkeeping and accounting systems
- work closely with the Client Advisers on client projects to include forecasting, systems reviews and implementation of new systems
- liase with tax teams to ensure tax work is completed to timescale
- review and completion of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies for a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses, liaising with the client adviser/director where required to ensure successful completion
- to maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and courses and to fulfil any development or training requirements
- review of monthly and quarterly management accounts and VAT returns for clients using a varied array of client software such as Sage, Kashflow and Xero
- help with on the job training and guidance of trainees
- work with the Accounts Department to ensure clients' expectations are managed and statutory deadlines are met
