- prepare statutory accounts for limited companies from books and records and software
- prepare corporation tax and complete returns for limited companies
- prepare personal tax returns, prepare VAT returns and assist with payroll
- assistance with a small number of audit filesmay also be required
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- AAT level 3 minimum, experience in the above responsibilities
- experience in practice more important than qualifications, minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles preferred
- strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial accounting standards
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- accounting: 3 years
- accountancy in practice: 3 years
- use of tax calc , an advantage , but full training will be given. Experience of sage, Xero and Quick books required
