farm worker
Responsibility
- working inside poultry sheds completing routine daily tasks
- maintaining bio-security requirements and good bird welfare at all times
- upkeep of both Poultry sites
- working to a rota based on the crop cycle
- night shift work – this will be detailed on application
- cleaning and basic maintenance of farm vehicles and machinery
- grounds maintenance, including mowing, strimming
- complete general maintenance across farm sites as part of a team. To include but not limited to, shed repairs, site repairs, up keep of bio mass boilers
Requirements
- full EU Driving License
- experience within agriculture preferred, but not essential
- we are looking for a general farm and poultry worker to include regular weekend work across our 2 Broiler Farms
- general skill in machinery maintenance
- your role will include
- practical approach to working
- working inside the poultry sheds completing the day to day tasks
- have a good level of physical fitness and able complete manual duties, daily
