  • previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred

Responsibility

  • ensure Clients are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • ensure outstanding compliance across the business and to support the business in achieving a minimum of “Good” in CQC inspections
  • ensuring all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date
  • to assist in the responsibility of staff – to plan, allocate and evaluate the workload of all staff
  • to ensure all staff receive formal supervision and appraisals
  • ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures and approved practice; and to promote the aims of the business
  • oversee the duty rota monthly in advance ensuring the correct skills and numbers on duty
  • continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered

home care worker

  • provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes
  • 3 visits a day and some sit-ins from Monday to Sunday
  • morning starts at 10 a.m. Evening ends at 2000 hours
  • assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • offer companionship and emotional support
  • ensure clients' safety and well-being
  • active Care - effective intervention on the very first day a fit note is received for a stress-related absence

Requirements

  • previous experience in homecare or a similar role is preferred
  • A compassionate and patient nature
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
