Responsibility
- renewed Hope is seeking an experienced support and recovery worker to lead on supporting our Drop-In guests
- assessing needs of all Drop-In Guests
- you will be a great communicator able to connect with people with complex needs from a range of backgrounds
- preference is 25 hours over 5 days, however we are open to discuss this
- these people are a mixture of adult rough sleepers and homeless people in crisis and housed people suffering the effects of isolation and poverty
- guiding guests of their rights accessing services, including housing and benefits
- you will be taking a lead in supporting guests with homeless applications, referrals to specialist agencies, such as councils, addiction services, housing associations and the probation service
- please note that we are unable to accept sponsorship applications and you will need the Right to Work in the UK
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
