Responsibility

  • we are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to work as part of a friendly and well established finance team
  • management of sales ledger and production of weekly and monthly debtors reporting
  • carrying out credit checks on current and prospective customers
  • allocation of payments to customer accounts
  • an amazing opportunity has arisen at Rema Tip Top Automotive UK Ltd, based at our Head Office in Leeds. Working as part of the Finance Team, a position of Credit Controller has arisen at the Leeds office
  • resolution of account/invoice queries
  • prompt collection of outstanding debts and escalation of the process from in house collection methods to CCJ applications where applicable
  • you will be responsible for your own portfolio of customers, collecting customer debts and working with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and reduce aged debt

Requirements

  • minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Credit Controller
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and escalate issues to achieve resolution
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • knowledge of Sage 1000 an advantage
  • outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
