agronomist
Requirements
- A degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in agricultural fieldwork, with a focus on sustainable or regenerative practices
- strong knowledge of regenerative agriculture principles
- excellent observational, analytical, and reporting skills
- willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland, with occasional international travel
- competency in data collection and reporting tools
- proficiency with digital tools, including Google Workspace and mapping applications, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- ability to lift up to 25 kilograms
Responsibility
- field Assessments Conduct on-site visits to farms to evaluate compliance with Regenified’s regenerative agriculture standards
- collect soil, water, and plant samples for laboratory analysis
- observe and document farming practices, including crop rotations, soil management, and biodiversity efforts
- verification and Reporting Verify information provided by farms through interviews, observations, and sample analyses
- prepare detailed, accurate reports, highlighting compliance levels and areas for improvement
- work with the certification team to finalise verification outcomes and provide constructive feedback to farms
- stakeholder Engagement Liaise with farmers, agronomists, and other stakeholders to explain verification processes and standards
- offer guidance and support to farmers on implementing and maintaining regenerative practices
