Responsibility
- prepare consolidated Financial Statements in accordance with Charity SORP FRS 102
- own the relationship with the external auditors and ensure that all external audit requirements are met
- responsible for overseas branch financial records, including audit
- prepare returns for HMRC for Charity and Limited Company
- work with SLT and business teams to prepare UK and overseas regulatory annual reports
- the FC is responsible for the preparation of financial reports and the reporting of current financial position, including cash flow and the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- the FC has responsibility for the ledgers and the integrity of the information produced by the accounting software and the finance team
- attend the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee of the Board
Requirements
- extensive experience and understanding of accounting for Charities
- relevant accounting qualifications preferred
- strong budgeting and forecasting experience
- strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- ability to work with others in a constructive way
- honesty and integrity are essential
