Responsibility
- contributing to the overall health and safety of personnel working in all areas of the mine
- ensuring that all equipment and assets are tested, inspected and functionable
- manage stores equipment spares and consumables, its distribution and recording
- carry out all maintenance, testing, and repair of all apparatus and ancillary equipment
- deliver and record operational safety critical equipment training where required
- coordinate and assist in conducting inspections, testing, maintenance and improvements to all safety critical equipment, in-line with legislative requirements and best practice at all shafts
Requirements
- previous experience in Safety Critical Equipment control, issue and maintenance position
- previous experience in the use, testing and maintenance of the specified critical safety assets
- good attention to detail including accurate record keeping
- demonstrate high standards of professional behaviour and discretion in relation to confidential information
