Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Responsibility
- set and Operate any machine used in the preparation section
- ensure all jobs are fully kitted ready to handover to the next department
- assist with repairs when required
- bring to the attention of the Team leader any non-conforming items or practices
- prime responsibility is to produce all the materials needed for the welding/fabrications department, working to manufacturing lists and drawings to meet the requirements of ISO9001 Quality and Inspections Procedures
- adhere to any current quality operating procedures, an up to date copy will be retained by the Operations Director
- turn machines/motors off when not in use
- daily machine total preventative maintenance checks
Requirements
- good knowledge of how a prep area works
- numerate and literate with clear communication skills – able to interpret measurements
- time management skills
- attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- effective verbal and listening communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- organisational skills essential
