Requirements
- hands on
- PA1 and PA3 spraying certificates - preferred but will provide training to the right candidate
- self-motivated
- tractor driving experience
- good attention to detail
- A good understanding of various machinery and a willingness to learn
- love working outdoors regardless of the weather
- A high level of Health and Safety awareness
Responsibility
- machinery operations and tractor driving
- working outside and alongside the Vineyard Manager
- all relevant PA1-3 spray qualifications would be a bonus, although training will be given to the right candidate
- some general estate maintenance
- tractor operations with attachments, including mowing, leaf trimming, leaf removal, air assisted spraying, boom sprays, and mulching, organisation of our machinery and equipment
- ability to be flexible for early start/late finish/weekend shifts. Some evening/night work will be required, for example at harvest time in the autumn
