Responsibility

  • field Service Engineer – Responsibility
  • working individually or as part of a team to install, commission, repair and service packaging machinery
  • travelling throughout the UK in a company supplied van to repair flowrappers and shrink wrapping machines
  • responding to customer reports of issues with faulty or damaged equipment, diagnose faults, and carry out remedial work as required
  • complete job reports following site visits including recording parts used
  • carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks including fitting spare parts and conducting tests on equipment. Experience with power and hand tools is essential

Requirements

  • electrical certification including, but not limited to, 17th/18th Edition
  • city and Guilds level 3 in electrical installations
  • good knowledge of mechanical fittings, sprockets, gears, and motors
  • vast experience with hand tools, cutting and drilling stainless steel
  • welding skills would be good but not essential
  • experience with wiring machinery
  • full clean UK driving licence
  • machine maintenance: 4 years
