Responsibility
- in the Manager's absence, be responsible for the Nursery staff and children
- be responsible for the management and administration of SEND support and equal opportunities
- objective: To support the Nursery Manager in the effective running of the nursery. Contributing to ongoing development and improvement
- attend in-service training and meetings as required and assist with relevant special events, outings and visits
- responsibilities of the post: The Deputy Manager reports directly to the Nursery Manager
- share in the management and administration of the nursery, supporting the development of a highly reflective and effective team who maintain high expectations of each child and are supported to share best practice
- promote partnership working by developing good links and relationships with key agencies, being supportive of the wider children’s and family community based at Epsom Methodist Church and by working with parents to develop positive home learning environments
- support staff team to undertake the range of duties and responsibilities under the SEND code of practice to ensure the equality of opportunity for all children at nursery
