Responsibility

  • actively manage existing Key Accounts with the clear goal of increasing sales value to Raven
  • drive New Business for all areas of the Raven product range
  • the position has responsibility for maximising value from the existing customer base, finding and adding new customers, identifying potential roofing projects and liaising with all relevant parties to ensure a positive outcome
  • identify and establish new Key Accounts. This will require a highly targeted approach and needs a degree of tenacity, pragmatism, and insight
  • job Overview : This is a key role to drive the profitable sales development of the strategically important Raven Roofing Supplies Swindon Branch
  • liaise with Key Suppliers as defined by the company trading policy

Requirements

  • in depth knowledge of roofing products and the roofing industry
  • minimum 3 Years working in a related role, ideally in roofing distribution but other relevant experience will be considered
  • good knowledge of the geographic and business area around the Swindon Branch
  • highly self-motivated and organised, with good time management skills
  • ability to be analytical, using relevant data to drive rational decision making and inform relevant sales approach
  • ability to write clear reports and communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and internally
  • must be good with numbers being able to quickly assess the financial benefit of sales opportunities to Raven
  • any relevant qualifications would be an advantage
