Responsibility
- we are looking for a Nursery Cook, who is nurturing, innovative, can inspire and have fun to join our team
- knowledge of Setting the Table and a current Food Hygiene qualification is essential
- you would be expected to keep a sound knowledge of all children’s allergy and dietary requirements
- you will also be in charge of creating different menus as required
- ultimately, we are looking for someone who has a passion for cooking and takes pride in their work
- you will work as part of a dedicated team to provide nutritional food for all our children whilst accommodating for specific allergies and dietary requirements
- candidates should have sound meal preparation and cooking skills, good kitchen organisation skills, time management skills and the ability to work well independently
- your role would include up keeping a high level of records and hygiene within the food prep area. Management of food storage and ordering stock
