Responsibility
- orchidale Children’s Nursery, Taverham, is looking for a Nursery Cook to join our nursery
- we are an Outstanding nursery with a great team spirit that is centred around the children we care for
- it is essential that you have sound knowledge of how to cater for different allergies/dietary requirements
- the ideal candidate will have experience of working within a school or nursery kitchen environment
- it is also preferable if the candidate has experience of Environmental Health – using the Safer Food Better Business requirements
- we are looking for someone to work Monday - Friday 9-2.30 all year round - we are closed on bank holidays and one week at Christmas
- training can be provided however you must have a full and relevant food hygiene certificate
- the role will require the successful candidate to be passionate preparing and cooking diverse and nutritious meals for up to 75 children each day - catering for young babies and up to the age of 5
