Responsibility
- responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance of all manufacturing equipment to ensure the required production levels are achieved
- upholding health and safety standards, leading by example and always adhering to safe working practices
- attending to breakdowns, performing fault finding and conducting root cause analysis to ensure the plant runs smoothly
- complete maintenance documentation/computer entry in line with company procedures
- recommend improvements to the operation of equipment, where appropriate
- support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant
- schedule and facilitate PUWER, LOLLER and PSSR testing with external agencies
- support and monitor the wider maintenance team and third-party contractors
Requirements
- qualified engineer / recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
- proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role within an industrial environment
- knowledge of crushers is preferred
- strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively
- proficiency in electrical systems maintenance, including troubleshooting electrical faults
- experience in supervising teams or projects is preferred
- maintenance: 6 years
