Responsibility
- receive and collate all claim payment requests as they are received by email
- production and delivery of all financial regulatory and compliance returns, including Lloyd’s returns, in accordance with the relevant regulatory timetables
- enter and record the claim payment details into the accounting system
- take ownership for and prepare the QMA and QMB as well as some of the smaller Lloyd’s returns
- present claims for payment, in liaison with the treasury accountant
- complete monthly bank reconciliations
- daily preparation of 3-day Cashflow forecast
- accounting technical – to keep current with latest accounting and regulatory reporting standards and requirement
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- part-Qualified
- good interpersonal and customer service skills to all internal and external customers
- good knowledge of the Lloyds market
- strong organisational skills to ensure workload is accurately prioritised and fully completed on time
- solvency II reporting knowledge
- commercial common sense and understanding of the insurance business
- knowledge of payment systems, invoice tracking, personal expense claims etc
- basic accounting knowledge, cashflow, audit files and key reconciliations
