Responsibility
- oversee a rolling 6-12 month pipeline of new products to launch across multiple sport categories
- determine product specification and material requirements of new products
- prepare and organize samples shipments to and from suppliers
- review product new samples and communicate design changes to suppliers
- communicate day to day with overseas suppliers via emails and phone. Ensure suppliers stay on track with new product development timelines
- create production quality testing documentation
- research and identify new product opportunities and gain market knowledge - providing clear POV on market needs, competitors, gaps in market, and desirable areas to invest in innovation for future products
- determine product packaging and shipping requirements

Requirements
- product development experience in sports equipment preferred
- metal fabrication
- plastic injection moulding
- cut & Sew / Netting
- fiberglass
- minimum of 4 years of product development experience in Consumer Packaged Goods / related Consumer Goods, such as sports equipment, toys, home goods etc
- experience in handling projects with China factories
- strong follow-up and management skills required to keep up with deadlines
