Responsibility
- process incoming purchase order requests in a timely manner and in accordance with authority limits
- check PO requests for errors before allocating PO number
- allocate PO number and send the completed purchase order to the requester
- resolve any issues with the purchase orders and goods received
- assist the Procurement Manager as deemed appropriate to increase knowledge and skills
- attend required safety briefings and ensure you understand the context and what is required of you
- participate in drug and alcohol screening when required
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- able to perform all duties in a polite, efficient, professional and courteous manner
- reliable, methodical and well organised
- excellent verbal, numeric and written skills
- excellent telephone manner
- good attention to detail with a tenacious approach
- maintains high personal standards and always keen to learn new skills
