Responsibility
- provide feedback to Quality Manager of inspection issues / defects and be able to provide actions to correct
- read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- maintain the inspection documentation for the traceability of product
- ensure handheld measurement equipment is calibrated and in good working order
- quality Inspector required to ensure that product is being processed to specification and leaves the company in good condition and to customer’s requirements. This role will be a mainly shop floor based, hands on role
- assist with root cause analysis, process improvements and problem-solving activities where required
- to ensure quality targets and KPIs are achieved by effective communication with shop floor personnel. Work to implement a quality culture that represents the companies policies and goals
- to have good written and verbal communication skills
