Responsibility

  • monitoring compliance to BRC, ISO9001, FSC, Health and Safety, Environmental and customer standards
  • facilitating external audits
  • lead quality improvement activities
  • have a very hands-on approach to ensure all areas of the quality systems are being met
  • carry out training on an on-going basis in relation to quality policies and procedures
  • check the quality of the products daily against product specification
  • close out customer complaints and to compile a trend analysis of the same making recommendations for improvement
  • responsibility for ensuring that the produce is safe and will be proactive in participating and improving the quality culture

Requirements

  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to plan, manage time and prioritise workload effectively– while adhering to strict deadlines
  • working knowledge of BRC standard, HACCP, Food Legislation, and Food Hygiene is a plus
  • auditing experience and the ability to interact with customers during audits is a plus
