Responsibility
- you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality control procedures, conduct product inspections and tests, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- your expertise in mechanical engineering principles and quality management will play a vital role in the organisation's success
- hiring: Quality Inspector / Engineer
- location: Cinderford - Forest Of Dean
- as a Quality Inspector / Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the products and processes meet the highest quality standards
- hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 7:30 – 13:00
Requirements
- proven experience as a Quality Inspector / Engineer with a mechanical bias in a manufacturing environment desirable
- knowledge of AS9100
- able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents with precision and attention to detail
- experience with Aberlink CMMs or similar coordinate measuring machines would be advantageous
- ability to work independently and in teams with minimum supervision
- proficient in use of the problem solving tools such as 8D, CAPA, 5Why
- continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on driving process enhancements and preventing future non-conformances
- proficiency in documenting quality-related activities, investigations, and outcomes
