- act as a key person
- carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children and support the staff team with their key children

- support the transition of children into the nursery and then onto the next room
- families and communities are important to child development , so we provide support to all
- build positive relationships with children, their families and colleagues
- support the staff working in the room with their own personal development
- develop and maintain professional working relationships with relevant external agencies where appropriate
Requirements
- level 3 Early Years/Childcare Diploma
- knowledge of OFSTED standards
- excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- good time management skills
- excellent communication skills
- strong people management skills
- 1+ years of Nursery Room Leader experience
- knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities / SENCO etc
